CBC News Network, BBC World and CNN were on the ball this afternoon to break in with the splashdown of the Orion capsule. This has been the first lunar mission in decades and is a bit of a big deal. CNN, BBC and CBC were prepared with commentators relaying the importance of this and the fact that we will be visiting the moon again.
CTV had a report on increased price of turkeys and CP24 regular programming.

What about Fox News ? Did they have any coverage?

if a capsule lands in the water and no one is around, does it make a noise?

Why is immediacy important for this?

"Why is immediacy important for this?"
Because every other news channel in the world is taking the live feed. That's why.

News channels big strength is live programming and breaking news. All of the networks that were prepared
and picked up the live feed to me is what news channels do. Running a report on the higher price of turkey's can run anytime. And CTV has been playing this story since yesterday, enough already.
I don't subscribe to Fox News Channel so I don't know if they covered the splashdown live but I would be surprised if they hadn't. Although about half an hour after landing this afternoon I didn't see anything on their website. It wasn't highlighted in their most popular stories either. If it was there it wasn't prominent.

All of the people before you who commented. If "who cares?" is your contribution don't bother. I don't care about 75 percent of what is posted here. So what do I do? Read the 25 percent that does interest me.

Does the foregoing qualify as the interesting 25 percent or the don't care 75%?
