This week's Ted Woloshyn Podcast is with Gord Martineau and I'm sure will be interesting for quite a few 'round these parts.
He has some great stories about the industry, including life with Rogers / Bell -- the CITY- CP24 transition, early days of radio and TV …etc...
Here's the main podcast link:

I can't find any video of Gord Martineau's short and unhappy tenure at Global News where he briefly co-anchored the news with Matthew Perry's mom - but here's news of his return to City.

And a cameo from Teddy at the end .

About halfway through the hour show, around the 32-minute mark, Martineau admits he didn't leave City TV of his own accord. He also agreed that they wanted to have a final big party for him, but he refused, because it wouldn't have been sincere. As he notes, he simply signed off as normal, walked out the door and left stunned staff to find out that was his final newscast after 39 years. Not so much as a goodbye.
A terrible way to end a career, but that seems to often be the case when you're dealing with Rogers.

He came clean about all of this with me 3 years ago.

And if I recall Mike's interview Anne Mroczkowski, he threw her under the bus and generally froze her out in hopes that if Rogers was going to ax one of them, it would be her rather than him (at least that's what I took away from that interview).
Has anyone done an in-depth interview with Dini Petty? The two seemed to get along well on air but that's not always a good indicator of how personalities get along in real life.

TM did a 1 hour 20 minute interview with her in June 2020:
