    Better Alternative to CNN

    For more intelligent coverage of world news, I recommend BBC World News.  In 30 minutes each hour you will get
    more news than in 3 hours of commercial laden CNN.  You can stream  free BBC World News on livenewsmag,
    planetnews, and the BBC I Player.  You need a VPN for the BBC iPlayer and just reply "yes" to whether you have a 
    TV license.  This player also streams an assortment of other BBC channels.   Enjoy.

    I don't know what everyone's thoughts are about CBS News, but I think their streaming news service is very good. They're live during the day, and they rebroadcast some of the news programming that's on the CBS network. Plus you don't need VPN, you can download their app on any device including smart TVs streamers like Roku and Amazon Fire.

    NBCNewsNow is also very good for U.S. news. It, too, is available in Canada without a VPN.

    I have always considered the BBC to be the Gold Standard for world news coverage. I also enjoy Euronews and DW.
