News Program Breakfast Television Shuts Operations Down for Christmas
I think it is weird for a news program to shut down for an extended break, as if one is seeking news, the viewer will obviously chose the competitor on CP24. Can BT get those viewers back? I watch Morning Live so I did not even notice. I saw this post on Twitter.
"BT is extending its holiday break so we can play it safe after the holidays. We'll be back for all of the laughs and information you need to start your day on Tuesday, January 4th. Happy holidays, and happy new year! - Your BT family"

Dina explained it so well. I can't resist her charm so I will be sure to start watching again in the new year...until things start to look too national and not enough local. That is when I will swing back over to CP 24.
I wonder also if this is a test to see if CityLine reruns can bring in better ratings than BT...
