Lots of NFL players had their start in the CFL, and many more than just Doug Flutie.  NFL and CFL are different leagues with different rules  One league is not all bad and amateurish and the other all great and fantastic.  Both leagues have their good and bad areas.  Here is a list of Canadians currently playing in the NFL...And most if not  all of these players would have initially played the Canadian game..

So we agree on something - the Canadian league is just a feeder league for the NFL. That's what I thought.

A “feeder league” would have a formal agreement with the NFL.
The CFL isn’t a minor league. It doesn’t feed into a league above it. It’s the highest league of three down football.

Arkells were great.  Should get airplay on A/C or top 40 radio.  For some reason they only show up on rock stations and indie radio.  .

I watched some of it on ESPN2 here on this side of the border (but yesterday, I was on your side of the border briefly, for the first time in 23 months!)

TSN -TV has exclusive rights for all games.  I don't agree with that.  TSN radio has NFL games on Sundays.  Some TSN radio stations have local rights.
Even during the CFL play-offs, TSN radio carried the NFL.
An 11-station network is carrying the radio broadcast today of the Grey Cup.

Not a classic game but a fun back & forth game to watch.

The CFL Grey Cups are almost always exciting .. a triple touch interception to clinch the Bomber win !

It's not a formal agreement, but in practice the better players do sometimes move up to the NFL making it a de facto feeder league. It works both ways, as players who are cut from NFL teams often find work in the CFL. As for being the highest league of three-down football, isn't it the only one?

Yes, and there are other leagues as well.
