    NHL on ESPN/TNT

    In an earlier post, at the beginning of the NHL season I shared some numbers for ESPN/TNT's premiere telecasts courtesy of Showbuzz Daily. Here are some figures from this week compared to The NBA. Tuesday ESPN carried the Golden Knights/Avalanche game that drew 385,000 viewers. Over on TNT the 76er/Knicks game had 1.431M viewers.  On Wednesday, Flyers/Oilers on TNT had 286,000. Memphis/Portland on ESPN had 1.073M. Some of ESPN's low numbers could be attributed to their decision to put many of their NHL telecasts behind their ESPN+ paywall.

    Do you know if they're producing their own telecast or rebroadcasting the one?

    - Not an industry person.  Just a guy with a love of Toronto radio.

    Each network is producing their own.  Several have been shown on Sportsnet already.
