So does mine, but I can remember a time when you would see a Doctor smoking between appointments; and in later years huddled with other smoking staff outside a hospital or clinic after the first no-smoking regulations were introduced.

The internet is full of politically incorrect ads from the 1950's and 60's. How about a meat thermometer as a bridal shower gift "to please the groom" or an ad for a self cleaning oven to protect the wife's finger nails. My favourite is for an appliance called the "Kenwood Chef" It apparently "does everything but cook...that's what wives are for"

I remember that one. There was also the one for Energizer batteries where they shot the bunny. It was a hit in the US, but in Canada, not so much. They had to pull it
