This ad campaign, which began in April 2021 originally featured Stone COLD Steve Austin and ICE T making cold sales calls to celebrities such as Mark Messier, Annie Murphy, Vanilla Ice, Mr. T. [with a clever Hanes underwear tie-in] and most recently Gordon Ramsey to switch to cold water laundry washing to save money and the environment. Now to tie in the NFL, which has large laundry issues every week in the fall, P&G has added a third cold caller. Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan. The NFL does not mandate which laundry soap teams use. Fifteen of them do use Tide including the Cincinnati Bengals, which happens to be the city where P&G's headquarters are located. Even the Tide logo has been temporarily changed from the traditional red/yellow to blue/white.
