Not sure when the annual "When will CHFI go All-Christmas?" debate will begin here, but an old DJ friend of mine posted the image below on his Facebook page. The words of warning are clear!

October is indeed too early for Christmas music.

Last year, they went on November 2nd, the earliest date ever. If they do it again that early, that's less than a month from now.
My premature condolences to all those working in stores where the signal is pumped in over the speakers all day and all of the night. (Which is a Kinks song from 1965, and doesn't qualify as a Christmas tune...)

Ha! Sure, then when Christmas music is over, they can start playing The Sex Pistols' "God Save the Queen" rather than Ed Sheeran.
