Looking for Radio/Audio production courses

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, relatively inexpensive, online course or certificate program in radio/audio production that can be done part-time? I took a few courses in Ryerson's radio production certificate program years ago but they no longer offer this at the Chang School and everything I've been able to find is for a full-time diploma studies which I neither need nor have the time for. I don't really care about getting a piece of paper - just want to get some training in how to use an audio editing suite, sound mixing etc. My wife wants to start podcasting so I'd like to be able to help her on the technical end. Unfortunately, my training in how to physically splice audio tape won't be of much use so I'd like to acquire some skills that are more contemporary.

My suggestion would be to volunteer at your local Rogers TV station if there is one nearby.  You can do it part time during the hours you are available,   Great, free technical training.
