    Sportsnet 590 Morning Show host Hugh Burrill announces he will be resigning...with final day appearing to be on Friday June 25th. Unfortunate news for the business

    I worked with him in another situation and a nicer, more friendly guy you'll never find. I take it he didn't say exactly what lies ahead, but I have no doubt that, whatever it is, he'll be great at it. I wish him well.

    Based on his Twitter post, he'll be starting his next adventure as Communications Manager at Sporting Life Canada. Not an unusual move for on-air media types to move into corporate communications gigs - all the best to Hugh!
