I know what you are saying, you are saying "Self, when will the soaps resume production"? I am glad you asked, as of tomorrow the Bold and Beautiful is set to resume filming episodes.
The only thing is I am not so sure about the kissing and love scenes...I mean what is a soap with no kissing?
Here is more on the story... (Jeesh I feel dirty for sharing this)...has it come to this during the pandemic as far as me sharing content? Yup!
The world would be so good if it weren't for some people...

It's hard to believe that at one time soaps dominated the network schedules from Noon-5pm weekday afternoons. At 15 minutes in length, that meant a lot of "daytime drama" CBS introduced the first 30 minute serials on April 2, 1956 [As The World Turns and Edge Of Night]. Search for Tomorrow and Guiding Light were the last two sudsers to expand from 15 to 30 minutes in Sept 1968. Over its 35 year run, Another World experimented with 30, 60 and 90 minute versions. Today, only four daytime dramas remain in production. The other three are Y&R [47 yrs] Days Of Our Lives [54 yrs] and General Hospital [57 yrs]
