No cause confirmed, but last time we chatted a few weeks ago he was heading for heart tests

It is confirmed, the former music director at London's FM96 passed away earlier today in London, Ontario

Shame, real nice cool guy. I worked with him for about 6 months at CFPL. A great musicologist.

This is very sad news. Greg was one of those people.
You know - the ones that could always be counted on. During his time in our business, he was always a solid rock. Always there with a smile and waving across the room. Yes he was always across the room, because Greg could be counted on to make an event a success. And a celebration.
Greg was in the centre of some amazing and great moments in the land radio events....
After learning that Greg Simpson has put on his wings we can only say - we love you.
