Peterborough Radio Announcer Charged With Child Porn Possession
Ryan LaLonde is now off the air at CKWF-FM aka The Wolf 101.5, after police in Peterborough charged him with possession of the illicit material. He was arrested after an April 16th search of a home, where cops seized various items, including electronics.
As always, he's presumed innocent until proven otherwise. But for now, at least, his radio career would appear to be over.

It's been a long time since there was an update in this case, but I'm not sure anyone expected it to end the way it did. Still, my guess is there's no way any radio station will hire this guy now because it was a long delay that got the charges stayed - and not a verdict of guilt or innocence.

Even if this case had gone to trial, and the accused had been found not guilty, that does not mean he is innocent of the charges made against him.
