New to air - 102.7 Moose FM

I heard "the Moose" ID on 102.7 while driving along Hwy 9 near Hwy 400 on Wednesday. The station mentioned Caledon in between rock tunes. There used to be a 50-watt station there but the idea was to move Bolton 105.5 down to 102.7. I presume hearing Moose on 102.7 means the change has happened? The power is supposedly now over 1000 watts...

Their website needs updating I guess. No mention of Caledon here:

Saul, they were always on 102.7 at 50 watts and 105.5. You could only 105.5 right downtown Bolton otherwise it was Vibe 105.
So back to 102.7, it was on a tower close to hwy. 9 and is suppose to move to a cell tower just south Bolton.
Did it sound like a 1000 watts?

Thanks, Andy.
Hard to know, I was driving through. And not going far these days... when this all lifts or I find myself needing to get up that way, I'll try and do it when I can park and do a proper bandscan.

I know for fact that the 50 watt signal could *just* be heard at 9 and 400 mixing with East FM. If it was the new 1000 transmitter, it would be full quieting.

The Moose is a great brand of stations. Wikipedia:

Vista Radio received extensions from the CRTC to April 15, 2020 and was given a third, and final, extension to October 15, 2020 to relocate CFJB-FM 105.5 MHz in Bolton, Ontario to 102.7 MHz and increase the power from 50 to 1,100 watts
