1050 off the air?
Spinning the dial to find the Leafs game tonight and 1050 is all static and skip. Happened in the car and now in the kitchen on my Sangean.
I am like 3 miles from the CN tower, if that, in Cabbagetown.
Something ain't right.

I am actually picking up an intermittent feed of O Canada, in French, from the Rangers-Canadiens game in Montréal on 1050 right now. Where did the local feed go?

They were back on by 7:30 PM, but I couldn't really get anything while they were gone. Too bad, because they're so rarely off the air. Couldn't be worse timing during a Leaf game.

1050's transmitter is in Mississauga/Oakville along the Lakeshore.. Being by the CN Tower won't do anything for 1050's signal to improve it. 
104.5 is on the CN Tower though.
I'm assuming they likely had a transmitter fault that took them off the air. Based on the time of day, I would assume it happened around pattern change time.
