When local newscasts are airing, you can watch any NBC/ABC/CBS/FOX affilliate. This is useful when hurricanes, tornados, blizzards etc. hit and you want to see more coverage than the networks give. Once local or network programming commences, streaming shuts down. I have stumbled across several sites where the streaming continued into the 6:30 network newscast and local programming at 7pm.
