Missed this one when it happened, but FYImusicnews.ca reminds us that CHCH-TV in Hamilton celebrated its 65th anniversary last Friday. It's a nice milestone, especially considering the place almost went bankrupt a few years ago. I just wish the story they ran contained more old footage instead of interviews with various officials, but maybe, like way too many places, they didn't save anything. The brief shot of the Bill Lawrence hosted Tiny Talent Time was a hoot, though.

CHCH-TV had lots of archival footage in their 60th anniversary special. Wish I could find it.

CJSH FM was an FM radio station operated by Southam Company, owner/publisher of The Hamilton Spectator.
It was a short lived effort of only 4 years or so.
The studios and offices were located in the Pinehurst Mansion at 163 Jackson St. West in Hamilton.
