Fake news. Despite the hyperbole, the average Canuck is sticking with the tried and true. Yes, there is cord-cutting, but, if you believe the "numbers" of those that guillotined the old guard, you are mistaken. Churn and uptake rates of cable/satellite subs are flat and not falling.

I wonder how many people have been inadvertently introduced to KODI through our news outlets whining about it.

Rogers wouldn't let me renew my current cable package though.
I would have kept paying and paying (the same price) for the cable I had.
Instead, they insisted that I have to accept one of their new(er) options.
Now, while I did not cut the cord, I did trim it as a result.
I'm paying less for cable now and the Kodi box (or whatever box it is) is now picking up the difference, giving me several of the channels I dropped and more.
