They could only find three?

Re: Notable Ontario community radio stations

Really? They didn't mention Canoe FM, or Hunter's Bay Radio?

Re: Notable Ontario community radio stations

How about Northumberland 89.7 in Cobourg? A lot of great people and shows there (and even I somehow slipped through the cracks to become a host there).

Re: Notable Ontario community radio stations

So much missing there. Here in the Ottawa Valley and the Pontiac alone, there's Valley Heritage Radio (CJHR-FM 98.7) in Renfrew; CHCR in Killaloe (102.9) and Wilno (104.5), and on the Quebec side, the bilingual CHIP-FM 101.9 in Fort-Coulonge.

Happy to be a volunteer here at 102.9 WhiStle FM in Stouffville.

Re: Notable Ontario community radio stations

It's not a listing, it's a feature. Other times it could be three restaurants, or three nature walks.

Re: Notable Ontario community radio stations

CKLU in Sudbury bills itself as a community station as well. Owned by Laurentian University. I have thought about offering to volunteer, but I just don't have the time at this point.

While the spirit of the article is commedable, it's still thin, watery gruel for the reader.
