Most stations will be regular programming if it's similar to last year.  They will highlight short vignettes throughout the day of indigenous stories and interviews.  It gives some stations that have little content during the day and no announcer something other than just music and commercials.

Is cktb not airing the special?
Because, some of us want a break from this woke and not at all educational special.
I thoght this importent day was also about education about first nations culture.
If the radio stations want to air a special, they should air short language lessons, stories about first nations heros, and a showcase of modern day first nations culture and first nations cultures from accross canada.

This whining from some members in this thread is tiring.

I tune out when the talk stations air the long special.
We are reminded all year, this day should also be about education.
The longer program on talk radio should be both stories from servivers and first nations education with partnerships with first nations stations across Canada.
