Definitely interpreting "Unlimited PTO" in a different spirit than most. Many workplaces for the last few years use the "unlimited PTO" vacation policy, but it's not a "blank cheque" - carefully chosen during down periods, aligned with management and big projects, and in general it understands "We're all adults here" so nobody's going to be able to abuse it by "taking every Friday off" or every other week in the summer or something that blatantly misuses it.

I suppose we should admire Ben's contract which must specify he can take as many days off as he likes. If he's invoicing the station and on a contract as his own business (as I believe Peter Shurman in the day and even someone like John Oakley did - though we thought of him as permanent and full-time "on staff" - through his own company), I suppose Mulroney's not billing for those absent hours. Still, I know it's been a long gripe here of yours, RA, "He seems to be off more than he works" and "Is he ever there?".

But regardless, Corus must be desperate enough for some "name" talent from other ventures to try to boost sagging ratings and drive up advertising rates that they're willing to agree to the fact it seems more like a "side hustle" in Mulroney's life than his primary occupation. Again, worthy, I suppose, of admiration in having the leverage in a contract to do that.

Looks like he’s trying to become part of the right-wing outrage machine on Youtube. He’s only got 53,000 subscribers though, so not sure how well that’s going to work out for him.

Well, that's interesting. I heard Mulroney promote Drolet in his time slot when he signed off last week. So who is doing Mulroney's show? They're not exactly flush with replacement fill-ins over there.

Drex just said "I'm in for Ben today as well". Who knows if that's all week or today was a one-off musical chairs re-arranging for coverage.
