Wonder if they will keep both channels (57 and 187 on Rogers) ??

Most likely both channels will continue to run. One with Canadian content and the other, functioning as the American counterpart.

So can I be the first to ask if this will lead to job cuts?
I'm betting the answer is yes

So... Amanda Lang is effectively back at Bloomberg then? And yes, for sure they will be looking to cut jobs at BNN and rely more on US and international content from Bloomberg to compensate. That's "synergy" after all.

Depends on CRTC regulation regarding the BNN licence. Is there any Can Con minimum?

I've noticed Bell's partnered with Vice on a few things. Makes me wonder if they're destined to pick up the stinker known as Viceland now that Rogers is bailing out.

If Vice(land) is counting on Bell, it sounds (on my opinion) strictly like an as needed content deal, not a channel (anymore?)
