CING-FM Hamilton off air
CING 95.3, as well as CITS-DT and CHCH-DT are off air as of posting. I noticed CING off air about 45 min ago while driving. Hope it's only a power issue and not a failure on the tower.

Update: CING came back but at a lower power, so might be on a aux site. No HD. CITS and CHCH transmitters are now back.

Sounds like they've found a temporary back up source while the engineers do their thing to fix this mess...

Lingering Hydro One issues from Thursday's storm... one of the incoming power phases is still high

Any out of town stuff creep in while 95.3 was down?

Nothing at all on 95.3 but conditions were fairly settled. Goes to show the protection zone CING has. I was able to hear adjacents Rochester 95.1 and Quinte 95.5. When I checked this morning, HD was back up and signal level was back to normal.
Thanks for the update Glen on what took place. Good it was only a power problem and not a transmission cable fire!
