The independent news channel, the Meidas Touch has long called Fox news the "State sponsored news station."
Lately they have been saying that, adding, "and CBS."
Sad.
As a side note former NDP firebrand Charlie Angus has become the official Canadian rep for the Meidas Touch.
American subscribers are getting an authentic source of Canadian news through Angus.
His commentaries on US politics are superb.

They are not doing themselves any favours, after new anchor Tony Dokoupil's latest interview subject appeared on the CBS Evening News Tuesday: his own mother.

CBS has trailed World News Tonight and Nightly News for decades, long before the "Foxification" They also trail in the Wake Up Wars as well. Amazing considering CBS has dominated Daytime and Primetime for many years. Their only AM bright light is CBS Sunday Morning.

Yes, they've long been in third place among the network nightly news shows. But never this far down, this fast. Their efforts to rebrand the flagship newscast have completely backfired.
