By- Election Coverage Tonight

For political junkies only...CTV News Channel, CP24, Crave and BNN Bloomberg coverage begins at 7pm, CBC News Network and GEM at 8pm.

Didn't bother to watch. Both Toronto ridings have been Liberal strongholds for years.The majority government was inevitable.

Yes, I like David Cochrane as well.  The coverage last night was pretty close between CBC and CTV news channels.  CTV had better guests overall IMO, but Cochrane was superior to Omar Sachedina who seemed a bit off or uncomfortable last night.
 
CBC's coverage was from Ottawa using the Power & Politics set and CTV using the CTV Toronto news set.  The CTV studio seemed too bright and is starting to look dated with the huge desk in the middle.  Also what was with all of the crane shots on CTV?  The crane camera was always moving about when people were speaking, and then swoop down for a lower shot.  It was almost like they had a drone camera in the studio.  

CBC declared the majority government over 10 minutes before CTV.  But coverage overall was pretty equal between the two networks IMO.

I am not a fan of Omar Sachedina. I find him insincere and not very credible, although he has screen presence, still….!
