Some here may know that the late Roddy - he of the flamboyant attire on the Price Is Right - used to work in radio, including Buffalo's WKBW. 

But it was at KLIF in Dallas that he met his match with a former Miss America winner. He was interviewing the woman and she wanted publicity for her new line of cosmetics. But when Roddy started lighting into her about exploiting her body, the two got into a raging fight on air, leading her to do something so unexpected, Roddy ended up unconscious while the show was still going on. 

It was hardly the highlight for either guest or host, but here's the story of what sparked this relatively long forgotten live confrontation.
