Steve Paikin joins BT at 6:50 weekdays for "Paikin on Politics" with Caryn Ceolin.

Is that another sign of how much the show actually sucks now? Paikin is great and I enjoy the morning biz report with Mike, other than that, tuned elsewhere. I will tune in for Mike and Steve for that 1/4 hour.

I watched a this a few times now online. Its a nice time filler. I am surprised Steve is in studio and not doing this from his home or cottage, but good for him for showing up everyday for 5 minutes of live tv before 7am.

Also noticed 2 biz reports in the BT studio now during the 6am hour. I'm sure Mike must be a pissed with not having the home studio option anymore!!

According to Broadcast Dialogue, Steve Paikin's calendar just got even busier. He's been appointed Chancellor of Victoria University at the U. of T.
According to the site, "he’ll serve as the university’s ceremonial head, presiding at Convocation, conferring degrees and acting as chief ambassador for the university."
That's in addition to his ongoing duties at TVO, Breakfast Television and the occasional guest appearance on AM640.
