You probably know about ScotiaBank Arena opening its doors so fans can watch the gold medal hockey game on its big screen. But did you know there's another place you can see it if a bar isn't in your early morning plans?
What could be more appropriate than watching the winner-take-all match in the place that's broadcasting the event - The CBC Toronto Broadcast Centre on Wellington St. And unlike the home of the Leafs, which has a $15 ticket fee, this one is free.
But you've got to get there early - doors open at 7 AM Sunday.
Where hockey fans can watch the Canada-U.S. gold medal game

I was able to watch the game at the grocery store where I am employed. The seafood department where I work is usually pretty quiet on Sunday mornings. Only two customers during the entire game. Only one vehicle in the parking lot too.

I don't think so. They're still coping with the death of Jacques Cousteau and that was 29 years ago.

I remember that - the 29 years flew by quickly.

There really is a Bruno?
Indeed there is. And he spends time there seven days a week.

Where did you watch the game? I got a kick out of John Moore admitting on CFRB that he missed it almost entirely, because was at Sunday mass in church. Who knew he was so devout?
I always thought hockey was a religion in this country!
