They were as much a part of many childhoods as your parents or your school. But whatever happened to all those kids who were in the TV shows you watched in the 60s and 70s? We know all too well about those whose lives took a turn for the worse after their show biz days were over.
But what about the others who went on to new careers you might never expect? From Lost In Space's Billy Mumy to Susan Dey of The Partridge Family, you're bound to recognize at least some of the names in the article below. But you may be surprised at what they're doing now.
From veterinarians to 3D graphics, they've become stars of an entirely different genre. And at least one of them went into radio.

You do manage to dredge up the click bait. Jay North died April 2025; the article doesn't mention that.

I noticed that too, but I thought the others who were listed made it interesting enough to still post it. I'm certainly glad to know not all of their lives ended in disaster.

Interesting to learn that Ward Cleaver was a smoker off camera.

Click bait or not, this was a fun diversion. I knew about some of their careers after fame, most seem to have done alright. My only suggestion for the author would have been a recent photo as well as their child actor shots, the “before and after” thing! Thanks for sharing RA.

I remember Danny Bonaduce as a radio talk show host from Chicago on WLUP in the mid 90's. It was pretty obvious his drug issues were not yet resolved, but he did manage to last two years there and went on to a decent career in radio . I used to hear him while doing over night tractor trailer deliveries around southern Ontario He has had quite the life , including being a professional wrestler He was beaten by Eric Young , an Ontario native in his last match for TNA . He also had to have surgery on his brain and has made a remarkable recovery. Danny Bonaduce - Wikipedia
