Yes, it's brilliant! Unfortunately, the error slates wanted double the money for their appearances and CBS wound up cancelling the whole thing.

This takes on a new irony, given the controversy over the Colbert cancellation.

Meanwhile, ABC has released its fall schedule and it's at least nice to see some of their shows will be back by September. Many of the other networks won't debut most their fall line-up until at least October, handing viewers yet more reasons to turn to alternate sources like streaming.
