Happened to catch a segment on Youtube featuring in Greg Carrasco , consulted as an "expert" by infamous Rebel right wing nuts.
It was a piece by comical looney toons David Menzies who was trying to do a smear piece on Service Ontario.
Menzies was supposedly crusading on behalf of a Rebel viewer who complained Service Ontario valued his old clunky Scion automobile at 15 thousand dollars.
The man speculated that Service Ontario is part of a plot to overvalue worthless autos so that the Ontario government would get more in taxes from used auto sales.
Menzies took to case to Carrasco, who of course is a car dealer with a radio show on weirdo AM station Sauga
Carrasco valued the old clunker at just 15 hundred dollars.
Apparently Service Ontario did not comment on the case.
But they took Carrasco's assessment and revalued the car.
I suspect the initial valuation by Service was a clerical error and not a conspiracy at all.
