It's been two decades for TVO's longest running regular show. But it all ends on Friday night, when Steve Paikin hosts the very last episode of the discussion show.
On AM640 Tuesday morning, Paikin promised a "major guest" for the final program - but refused to reveal who it might be.
The show airs weeknights at 8 PM, but there are tons of highlights available on the website in case you miss the finale.

I am surprised that they’re pulling the plug on this program. It is well done and very topical! Maybe Paikin was done with it, although he is staying on with TVO.

I will be recording this one. Always enjoyed The Agenda with Steve. Met him briefly once. Seemed to be a genuine friendly guy.

Steve Paikin came over earlier this month for his "exit interview". All your questions are answered right here.

It was weird seeing the photograph of Steve Paikin in a t-shirt.

Just a reminder for those interested, Friday night is the final episode of "The Agenda." Still don't know who the big "last guest" is, but outgoing host Steve Paikin has promised a big get. It airs at 8 PM on TVO if you're curious.

I would guess the Premier of Ontario.

Carney? Trudeau? Chow?!

The Polkaroo? 🤔
(Probably get more substantial info from the Polkaroo than what you'll get from any political figure. 🤨)

I am sure that Steve will work in a segment or talk about Bill Davis. Steve was a big fan of Premier Davis and the two became close friends right up until the time of Davis passing in August of 2021. Did Steve and Bill record something special that has never been aired before?

My guess is Ford, or it could be Steve interviewing himself.

And the winner is, Steve's Dad.

Great way to finish 19 years of The Agenda. Steve's dad is an interesting man and looks amazing for being 91 years old. Good sense of humour as well.

The Paikin family are all wonderful. I have known them forever, and wherever you see them, they talk to you like you are the only person in the room.

If you missed the final show and are curious about the interview with the elder Paikin, you can watch it here.

The final segment is on the site, as well, a retrospective of the show's nearly 20 years on air.
