Maybe I just didn't tune to the right place, but I don't think there was anywhere to hear the entire Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Toronto radio Tuesday night.
TSN1050 wasn't carrying it.
The Fan 590 had the mandatory Jays game on.
680 was in its regular news wheel.
But no hockey, even though it was likely the last game of the season. I find that very odd, especially with all the hype about the Oilers being the great Canadian hope.
Instead, the Fan did Jays Talk and then switched to the game in progress with 13 minutes left in the third period.
Given that they've covered every other playoff game, it's mind boggling that the final of the Final didn't get the full treatment anywhere on Toronto airwaves. I hope those driving on Tuesday night were smart enough to do a little DXing to find it somewhere else.

TSN1200 in Ottawa carried the first five games, all via an American network. They repeated they would carry
game 6. So, I tuned in to listen and was met with ESPN programming. So I phoned in to the station. Security didn't know TSN1200 was supposed to carry the game. I was sent to the newsroom. After I explained the screw up, a man said,"this is the newsroom, and that is news to me." A moment later they switched to the game....the Jays game. Another example of corporate incompetence.

I am amazed that you were actually able to speak to a live person. Most radio station conglomerates today hide behind mega voice mail systems.
