It will be on The News Forum, a cable channel available on most of the big carriers.

Yikes - 80. I'm old enough to remember her having TV cameras follow her pregnancy...

Or when se did traffic reports from a helicopter, Saul
Online!
From what I have seen of that channel, I would bet she is paying for the airtime.

That I only very vaguely recall now that you mention it. I guess with age comes selective memory

I checked out the website, it looks like it has a few shows I might check out, but nothing stands out for me. Its nice that there is a platform for programs like this.

I have tuned into News Forum a few times quite randomly. Not too bad but it is one of those channels that you can’t rewind if you missed something, which I tend to do! Having worked with Dini years ago, I might tune in to check out her show.

Wonder if she can still fly a helicopter.
Remember when she did traffic for CITY and Moses insisted she be dubbed the "Traffic Bunny."
Back when a woman who could fly a helicopter was still considered a trivial sex object.

Dianne Pepper? Yes, I remember her.
By the way, the interwebs tell me she is now Pepper The Clown.

Wow. I would have thought if she wanted to be a clown, she would have gone into politics!

I wonder how many clowns you could stuff a helicopter with?

Humble and Fred would make guest appearances on the Dini Petty show back in the day, here is a link to one of the times they joined Dini... it starts at 2 minutes in...
Leslieville Bill mentioned that Dianne Pepper, had another career. I wanted to add, I had her as a guest on a talk show I hosted on CKDO way back when, and she did "Clown" work to bring joy to older and younger audiences. She really loved being known as Pepper the clown...and spreading a little joy to those she met.
She was an engaging guest and a lovely person. Thankfully she didn't bring the bike horn and toot it on air.

The Toronto Star profiles her on the eve of her media return. I was a bit surprised that, while the article lists many of her on-air accomplishments, it never refers to her years on air as a co-anchor of CityPulse on City TV.
It does talk about her infamous time doing traffic from the pink CKEY helicopter, a job that could have cost her everything.
"She’s had several close calls with death, including the time a male helicopter mechanic refused to listen when her engine kept missing. (After the third time it almost crashed, an investigation revealed the engine was dissolving, and the mechanic apologized.) Then there was the time a handsome stranger pulled a fake gun on her at the CNE right before a broadcast. She calls that one her “certain death” experience."

Good on her! If we could all be so lucky to be 80 and do something we loved would be fairly decent. I’m going to at least check out her show, even though you can’t rewind News Forum, as I posted here June 15, yeah, I’m tenacious when it comes to whining!

Dini was also a guest on Friday's "The Morning Show" on Global. Here's the segment.

Thanks for sharing AspectRatio. I was fairly impressed with Dini, she is still sharp and has a sense of humour, good on her!
