A CNN Fact Checker Comes Back To Toronto To Stay
Given Donald Trump's never ending propensity to lie with almost every sentence he utters, I'm surprised former Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale hasn't expired from sheer exhaustion. As many here know, he left the newspaper to go to work for CNN as their fact-checker-in chief.
But after years of living in Washington, he's finally come home to The Big Smoke - even though he'll still be separating fact from fiction on the American all-news network.

He can have the rare opportunity to have the best of both worlds, the CNN job and living in TO.
One piece of Daniel trivia.
Before he was a Trump fact checker extraordinaire he was a Toronto Star reporter who was sent to stake out the infamous house of Rob Ford.
The train wreck mayor spotted him and charged at him physically, causing Dale to run for his life.
Ford also called Dale a pedophile, but later read out an apology to Dale on the floor of the city council chamber.

Dan Dale comes back home a conquering hero after successfully vanquishing Orange Man Bad. Oh, wait…that would’ve been the headline if he pulled up stakes in January, 2021. A shame his investigative talents withered away covering the tapioca-brained bumbling Biden bunch. Hey, maybe he can get a sweet book deal to write a Now It Finally Can Be Told tome much like his CNN comrade Joke Tapped-Out
Can we expect backyard security footage of Raccoon Danny rummaging through Doug Ford’s garbage bins?

I also wonder if he came home now to escape the clutches of Orange Man and his goons. He's far more vulnerable being a Canadian "foreigner" living in the U.S. than if he's residing here, where there's little Trump's minions can do to get at him.

I don't think Trump can tell the truth, there are so many enemies not just for him, but for the socio/political and economic landscape in the U.S. and globally. The lies maybe needed to protect what is really happening behind the scenes.
You can't tip your hat for it could have dark consequences on the World stage.
I can understand why, and yet, I know there have been consequences we have had to endure, as a result.
