World Radio History Website

Just saw this link at the Steve Hoffman Music Forum. A large archive of radio, TV and music magazines. A rabbit hole for sure Was a big fan of music magazines and I love looking at music charts. Cashbox and Record World were not widely available in Canada but they are here in addition to Billboard. That's just a start for me and there is so much more. They don't have issues of Rolling Stone, Creem, Crawdaddy, Fusion etc but I already have most of those. They do have Discoveries and Goldmine though.

WORLD RADIO HISTORY

Here is one that may interest some on the board:
Canadian Broadcaster

Quite a large, but interesting, rabbit hole.

Re: World Radio History Website

Seeing the name WHLD FM in the Buffalo ratings reminded me about that station as I had forgotten what it was and so I googled and remembered that it was at 98.5 and changed format during the summer of 1980 to the exceptional free form station WZIR or Wizard Radio. I remembered another thing I had forgotten. When they first signed on they played Psycho Chicken by the Fools as a stunt for a day or so. I have a few air checks of the station that I recorded during their brief existence on the web site.
