A nice compilation if you haven't seen them yet.
Super Bowl 2025: Here are the U.S. ads you (mostly) won't see during the Canadian broadcast

Another bonus when you watch the game OTA from Buffalo!!

I really appreciated being told who the actors were in the ads. The majority I am not familiar with. I know who Catharine O'Hara is but did not recognize her. I am aware that Doja Cat is a female rapper but would not be able to name one of her hits. A blank stare is all you would get if a saw a photo of her. My favourite was the Lay's ad with the young girl growing her own potato.

Some of these ads are not so super.

I would agree with your assessment. However, it is still better than the five ads CTV will run endlessly over four hours.

CTV/TSN/RDS had about 10 million viewers for the Super Bowl last year and will have some of their own new advertisers and commercials. They usually run a few of the US spots for certain advertisers, usually automotive. Pretty strange how about half the people watching today don't likely care that much about the game but are tuned in for the hype, half time show and commercials. That's what makes Super Bowl Sunday unique!
I wonder what CTV charges for a 30 second spot for the full network on Super Bowl. Definitely won't be anywhere near $7-8 million like FOX. CTV also has lots of promo for programming during the game. Always wondered how much is intentional and how much was airtime that was unsold.

I always find it interesting what the host network decides to air immediately after the game, arguably the most valuable piece of primetime real estate of the entire year. If memory serves, last year CBS debuted its now hit series Tracker in that time slot.
This year? Fox is filling the hour with the Rob Lowe-hosted game show The Floor (which I think is a terrible program and a horrible choice for such an important spot) while CTV has given that golden 60 minutes to a new episode of Fox's "Rescue: Hi Surf," not exactly a giant in the ratings itself.
In a kind of a strange irony, that same episode will air the next day on Fox, while CTV will counter with a rerun episode of last year's big post-game breakout, the aforementioned Tracker.

Worth noting that Fox originally put "Hi Surf" in the post-Super Bowl slot, then replaced it with Rob Lowe's show, essentially screwing CTV's plans.
