CBS self-sabotage

In the aftermath of the cancellation of Late Show with Stephen Colbert, despite being the top network show in late-night, the new ownership's demolition of the CBS Evening News and firings at 60 Minutes, comes the news that the network is cancelling several of it's most popular prime-time shows:

CBS Morning had a 4% decline in viewers the week after Colbert's Late Show ended while Good Morning America and Today both gained

So the two cancelled "Most Watched" shows CBS cancelled were Watson and DMV. Both shows finished in the top 100. Big Deal. Top 30? Both shows would likely be around for another season. I actually watched several episodes of DMV. Not funny at all. With The Neighbourhood as a leadin, it should have done better. It didn't, so the plug was pulled.
