I'm not sure how many people here actually ever listen to Flow 98.7, but if you have, you probably know their morning show, "Ace & Marlon in the Morning." Broadcast Dialogue reports the hosts, Alicia "Ace" West and Marlon Palmer, have been cancelled. .
Flow is one of those stations that doesn't get a lot of notice by many in this market, but it fills a niche. And you'd think that the firing of two morning show hosts in the biggest market in Canada would generate more publicity, But this one didn't.
There's no immediate word on why they were let go, or who their replacements might be.

So far in the current book, more than do to 1010, 640, 740, and 1050.

Maybe needi's changing the format to cina fm or big fm or moving classic hits to fm.
Or maybe neeti wants all his stations otomated.

Yeah, what the hell's going on over there? At time of this posting, website gone:

I think they may be doing some sort of brand refresh or relaunch. Their Instagram account has been wiped clean, save for a single post that features a new logo that resembles the one Flow 93.5 used from 2001-2011.
Additionally, their Facebook page has that logo posted along with a message reading “Tomorrow @ Noon.” Make of that what you will.

Flow is definitely heading back to its old roots, with the new Facebook logo being completely same to the 2001-07 1st generation Flow one. The playlist has also been slightly adjusted with the one of the hosts being assigned as assistant MD recently, with more hip hop and even Spanish reggaeton music in its rotation, probably catering to a younger audience.

Did'nt the old flow do so many format changes?
Was it even for the black community or just a commercial station for hip-hop fans?
I liked it when they added pop songs on 93.5, I'm not much of a hip-hop fan.
I actualy hope neeti changes the format on 98.7 to something new and different, maybe caribbian music, maybe urban ac/community radio, or maybe a format simular to the old CHRY which I miss even thogh I'm not apart of there target community, I love there caribbian music and whatnot.

Listening tonight, I'm wondering if the CRTC relived them of their specialty license. Things like that have happened without public notification lately.
The music mix is fantastic.

What exactly changed at noon ... if anything? Sounds pretty much the same - to my ears, anyhow.

One of the new morning show hosts may be familiar to some here. Patricia Jaggernauth used to work for CP24 and in 2022, issued a human rights complaint against Bell for what she called a pattern of sexism, racism and discrimination. For its part, Bell Media denied the charges.
So what happened? It's hard to tell, with Jaggernauth issuing a statement in 2025 saying the issue had been resolved to the "mututal satisfaction" of both parties, although no amounts were disclosed.
Hopefully, she'll be happier doing mornings at Flow.

Interesting - had not heard what she'd been up to career-wise since the publicity around that complaint.
Here's hoping for a real juggernaut of a morning show that gets the ears and traction they're hoping for!

Supriya Dwivedi and Reshmi Nair should co-host a talk show called "No Credibility."

Suggested new slogan for the revamped station: "Go With The Flow!"

What's even revamped?
They should bring back the old g format with the flow name, it actualy surved the black and caribbian community with programming the entire community liked, from gospel to an african music show and a talkshow called grapevine.
I even listened more when it was g because I liked the music and to learn about more of the african and caribbian culture.
Now, its just a station that wants to act cool and be a commercial rap station.

Or, it should be called 2 whining spoild entitled lefties.
Reshmi should have stayed at the CBC where she belonged and travis danraj should have hosted the rush on newstalk 1010.
He worked accross the hall at cp24 and did a great job at the weather and a great job at cbc news network untill the lefties at the cbc got mad.

Thanks! another reasonable right-of-centre person in this western world of the far-left and the far-right.
When poland is the most reasonable country out there, that's how you know canada and the usa and its talk broadcasters and population have gon crazy.
At leest ctv is the reasonable news voice in canada and the uk has times radio and lbc, out of all the anglo countries, australia's media seems the most reasonable and not to far-left and far-right.

A post about big changes at Flow 98.7 resulted in multiple commenters picking on the only two women of colour to host weekday shows on Toronto AM talk radio. Both of whom faced significant abuse from Toronto AM talk radio listeners. It's just gross.

Mike, not to start a holy war, but that story is wide open to interpretation.

Mike, you had them on your show.
It does'nt matter about there race, they just don't belong on 640 and 1010, they belong on cbc or ciut.
Let us have a non-far-left talk radio station to listen to.
