Two of the biggest annoying a-holes in Canada right now are Lilly and Poilievre...they make chalkboard scratching sound like Beethoven...CFRB has been in a shit spiral for years...but having the guy that purveys freedom convoy bullshit for a rag that is owned by a MAGA investment firm and who sleeps with Doug Ford's mouthpiece as a fill-in host is worse than Arthur Fonzarelli jumping great whites on his motorcycle...what a fucken joke.

Is this a good time to mention that during Friday's show Brian Lilley confirmed that he's going to be sitting in from 10 - noon the last week in February whilst Jerry is away having his knee surgery.

It's still odd that 1010 seems to have stopped recording the traditional intro for whoever is filling in "This is the (insert name of regular host) show with special guest host (insert name of guest host)."

And on Friday coming back from a commercial break with just the usual "You're listening to Jerry Agar..." it sounded like Brian was surprised and most definitely NOT thrilled with 1010's failure to award him guest host billing although perhaps CFRB thought a special intro would be gilding the Lilley.

I would hate to ban such a person but if he continues with his nasty references to Muslims and other ethnic groups, he will be permanently banned. I hope he can get the message despite his vision issues.

The muslims I hate are those strict taliban/hamas/isis level muslims who bring there values to a nice and friendly country like ours.
They are setting a bad example for good and normal muslims like albanians, bosnians, persians, turks and ishmailis.
I'm sure alah is laughing at those muslim fools.

The fact that Ford's press secretary is dating someone in media shouldn't really be that surprising.

My issue with Lilly (and Jerry for that matter) is their constant exaggerations and overly one sided comments.  I can't stand when someone either on the right or left is so blind and biased that they never give ANY credit to the other side.  Even when the "enemy" has done something right or that benefits people.  Commentators and politicians on the left of the political spectrum are just as guilty and try to inject stupid side bar issues that don't really matter. 

As a broadcaster, Lilly to my ears is smoother and has his thoughts together much better than Jerry Agar.  I have always found Jerry to be hard to listen to with his jerky hesitant delivery.  He always sounds like he is trying to say two different things at the same time and he gets angry and flustered too easily.  Agar tends to be rude and quarrelsome with callers and guests that don't share his point of few.  

Lilly usually does make some good and valid points, but like Jerry falls into the trap of borderline misinformation and exaggeration which weakens his position.
