I hear that CFRB will move to CFTO studios in Scarbough where CP 24 has already moved. Any truth to that rumour?

I've heard this, as well, and there are rumours that several staffers will quit if it happens, already living in the core and not wanting to make that trek to Agincourt every day - especially at 3 AM on a winter's night. Can't say I blame them!
In fact, I was offered a job at CTV a few years ago and one of the reasons I turned it down was the distance between my home and the station. It was not the only reason, but it was definitely part of my determination to thank them but ultimately say no.

Well CFRB doesn't have any news people, everything already comes out of Agincourt. Is all radio moving?
Virgin, CHUM FM? Didn't TSN 1050 move years ago? So it likely isn't that many people, and likely all those affected don't all live downtown. 3AM there won't be much traffic. Maybe John can make a deal that he splits his morning show between being at home and in Scarborough.

Thank you to all. I guess we don't know yet officially.

So if RB moves, this would be their fifth home. 1. Keg Mansion location. 2. 37 Bloor St. W. [at Bay] 3. 2 St. Clair [at Yonge 4. 250 Richmond [I think]

I have had to go to the Agincourt location numerous times over the years.
If it hasn't changed it is a bleak, ugly and depressing place.
By the way I have never got used to the mangled pronunciation of Agincourt here -- AY-jin-kort. Yuck.
It is AH-zhen-koor.
If you know your Shakespeare, you'll know one of Henry V's greatest battle was the battle of Agincourt, France.

Cavernous is another appropriate description

Will the shows come from a different closet next to CP24?
No, they will broadcast from the former Gail Smith dressing room...

Now that's an insider reference.
Will Condrege Holloway be there too?

Will they get the same calibre of guests if they have to drive out of the core? Of perhaps tag along to the TV interviews?

Thanks to things like Zoom, this isn't the problem it once was. But I have to admit I wondered that, too. When a star or an author comes in to publicize his/her new project, is anyone really going all the way out to Agincourt, fighting traffic and gobbling up precious time? Especially when there are other stops to make - and most of them are still downtown.

Okay, that's a cheap shot, but made me laugh out loud.

Hopefully the commute slog will be too much for Deb and Tim.
