AF was in this morning for GB on 640 Toronto. He is very polished and I like when he offers an additional opinion. They should have more of him on-air.

I hope he stays at least in the weekend morning slot. That seems to be the gateway to full time weekday employment at the station.
Of course, if he ever decides to run for office again, that's the end of his radio career for a while.

He was trounced pretty badly in the civic byelection, and he lost his previous bid for mayor.
So far he seems best suited for Toronto Sun style right wing blatherings including a stint on Sun News Network, run by the vile Ezra Levant.

Wasn't this Kathleen Wynne's neighbourhood? Not exactly a Conservative friendly area.

Did Bill run for office and lose twice too?

Furey would be better if he didn't exaggerate so much and was less one sided. Agar is a lost cause, but Furey maybe still has hope. I find Jerry hard to listen to, just by his jerky and halting announce style while Furey comes across as more natural sounding. He also has some radio experience and this shows in his delivery.

There's speculation Furey plans to run in the upcoming byelection to fill the school trustee vacancy caused by the election to city council by the person who Furey recently lost to.

Must be that semi-pro glow.
