I've been watching The Irrational, which is pretty good, but not great.
But I'm really enjoying High Potential and Matlock.
I tried a couple of new sitcoms, but neither did much for me. My brother reccomended Happy's Place, but I didn't care for it.
And I checked out Poppa's House, and despite it having a radio based setting, I thought it was pretty bland. I guess I expected more from Damon Wayans. I always felt he was very funny.

On network TV I have been following "Tracker" and "Dr. Odyssey."
As I have written before, both shows have their own levels of total absurdity and incredibility, but Odyssey takes the prize.
It is either unintentionally funny, or they know what they are doing.
"Tracker" has fun plots and tightly-told stories, but the main character is a sort of polymath who solves his missing person cases within days
He does things like parachutes into dense backwoods wearing just jeans and a T shirt and seems to have endless supplies in one small backpack.
Also, like with most action shows, his gun seems to hold unlimited ammunition.
My fave shows are still all on streaming.
There's a new season of the French cop show "Deadly Tropics" which is on the European service, MHZ and Topic.
There's also great stuff on Acorn and Britbox. like the Kiwi cop show "Brokenwood" and the Jane Seymour mystery show, "Harry Wild."

 

I'm surprised to read that  NCIS Origins is not doing great. It is really well done from the acting to the storylines in my opinion. The fact that Mark Harmon narrates and has been seen briefly in some episodes just makes it  that much more enticing for fans of the original series. Maybe all of the spin off series have damaged the credibility of the brand, but I'm finding Origins to be my favorite new show in sometime. 

It only took me 3 episodes to ditch Matlock, it is just so uninteresting.
