I was at CFRW/Q FM ( PD ) from 1975 to 1979.  We had a great staff on and off air!!  The market was incredibly competitive but so respectful at the same time.  I hope this is a huge success.  I hope the word spreads quickly.   

Mike also went on to be my VP/GM.  Mike is still the VP/GM of the stations.  Peter Morena was promoted to Operations Manager and did a great job.  Along with creative, production, sales and on air talent we had a great team. Even during the pandemic everyone continued to come into the station even though there was the option of working from home.  Now that's commitment.  

Hi - slight correction.  We purchased the station in 2004 and later, following market research we moved to a rock based format, then later to Classic Rock.  

When I worked at CHAM we did a Solid Gold Rock and Roll Album featuring sketches of the jocks.  Here is Gil Harris chain smoking as usual.  His morning show was packed with comedy and great bits!  I'm in the red shirt. lol

Ilga worked as the Head Copywriter at CHAM in the early 70's.  She hired me as a part-time writer when I was in university.  She was also a natural at upselling the clients if she came up with a solid campaign. Talk about a win/win.
