If you ever watch GMA on ABC the hosts finish every interview thanking them "as always". Very annoying.

I was attending UofT Erindale and running the campus radio station in 1970 when I was hired as a stringer at 1250 CHWO. I got to drive the van and go to council meetings and get quotable quotes from Reeve McCallion in Streetsville. On weekends I ran the board for ethnic shows and the dreaded cart machine and taped shows. Screwed up large one Sunday when the replay of the Oakville Oaks was scheduled and I played the second tape with the third period first. No one seemed to notice! Lucky for the radio industry I went into 30 years as a cop but still did voiceovers for training videos.

I see Chris Potter has been doing the weather on CBC. Don't know if it is a full time gig because last night they had Colette Kennedy's name posted on his 655 wrap. He does a good job but is in studio which is a long way from his Barrie backyard.

When he left WKBW he went to WPVI in Philly as weatherman Dave Roberts until he retired in 2009. His son David Boreanaz starred in Bones and now Seal Team!

Meital Spelling is doing CP24 mornings and Talli (sp) Cohen on 1010 mornings and Heather Seaman on both in PM then back to CTN I think

I haven't seen or heard traffic reporters Morales or Yeboah for quite a few days with no comment from the on air hosts. There have been days where CP24 Breakfast had no traffic. What's happening?
