AM radio is dying for the very same reason Hollywood is dying. Lower standards, and left leaning woke bs. The people on AM radio today are for the most part horrible at their jobs, that's because if you fit the category they are looking for you are hired! The best of the best don't matter today. Even this board is a left leaning echo chamber.

Wow that brings back a few memories. Does anyone remember a CBC anchor women named Valerie Elia? I always considered her be be one of the finest at her craft. I wonder what she's up to these days. I believe she worked with Fraser Kelly

I don't mind Goldhawk but I always wondered why AM740 never offered Don Jackson a chance to do a show like Lovers And Other Strangers. AM 740 is the perfect station for a show like his.
