Thank you.  But after missing so many goal line stands watching the BDU screw up the last seconds of a tight NFL game, you would think they might learn.  But, they don't, so they will have to pay for it.  And every time I submit a complaint to the Commission, it is part of the BDU's file.

First of all let me say that anyone I spoke to at the BDU has no idea what a simsub is.  And to my amazement have no access to a television equipped with the channels they send to the public.  So, after speaking with someone at the BDU for about an hour, the Loyalty Department decided that I should receive some compensation for their mistake.  However, I don't think they really believed me it was their fault.  They gave me a credit of just over $20 to my account,
Then I spent about 20 minutes detailing the incident to the CRTC.  The form is on their website,  They send a copy to the BDU and they have about three weeks to reply to me with their answer.  Of, course I was right and they apologized and detailed how many simsubs they have to do...blah, blah, blah.  Again, it's corporate incompetence and poor management that allows these things to happen.  The NFL season is near, so I will have many opportunities to complain.  But, the BDU's just don't get it!!!

I complained to the Commission, which sent a copy to the BDU.  I was proven right and prior to filing my complaint I was given a credit to my account.  Just another example of corporate incompetence.

Remember this is Toronto.  Those seats are all or mostly corporate.  You can tell because you see a lot of people on their phones and have no idea if Mickey Mantle or Mickey Mouse is playing.  I would LOVE to sit in those seats.

I remember the first expansion.  Jack Kent Cooke, a Canadian, owned the Los Angeles Kings and the "fabulous Forum."  He was asked the question concerning fan support.  He says there are thousands of Canadians living here so attendance shouldn't be a problem.  When attendance was dismal, he was asked about his claim that there were thousands of Canadians living around L.A..  His answer was now he knew why these Canadians moved to California.  "They hate hockey."

TSN1200 in Ottawa carried the first five games, all via an American network.  They repeated they would carry
game 6.  So, I tuned in to listen and was met with ESPN programming.  So I phoned in to the station.  Security didn't know TSN1200 was supposed to carry the game.  I was sent to the newsroom.  After I explained the screw up, a man said,"this is the newsroom, and that is news to me."  A moment later they switched to the game....the Jays game.  Another example of corporate incompetence.

This is something I have wondered over the years, and the wise people on this board may have the answer.
When Canadian sports team play in the United States, do they use their own mobile?  Do they bring a full crew or being a skeleton crew and hire technicians from the the U.S.? Do they have to hire locals?

CKO in Ottawa carried the Expos but could only carry so many in a row and so many a week.  I remember when CKO outbid CKFH for the Leaf rights.  So, getting permission from the CRTC is probably right.

Remembering the topic of will CBC carry hockey on election night.  With two games featuring American teams, the answer is no.
Good to note is they carried three games yesterday.  And on the Senators post-game show on TSN1200 a man phoned in and thanked the CBC for showing the hockey games.
