I thought he was great. Just the right amount of humour etc. The Tom Cruise "L Ron Hubba Hubba" was my favourite line.

Like many others, I knew & worked with The Spaceman for many years. Beyond all the quirky on-air content he put out there for years on "A View From Space" he was a HUGE cheerleader for his colleagues. Always a positive mentor, loved radio. I had many "life" conversations with Gary that had nothing to do with radio, Prince (King) Charles or the Illuminati. He was a great guy, I miss him indeed!

Always been a HUGE fan of JAZZFM. Hosts past & present are great! Brad, Walter, Heather, John etc etc...all great to listen to. Love the playlist as well. I've been a paying supporter on/off for a few years! Worth it! - Scholes

Not sure about Sauga 960, but if a thunderstorm severe enough to generate an Emergency Alert is headed to the GTA, it will surely fall in both T.O. and Mississauga. My guess is they're not equipped to handle the alerts. Although by law they should be.Yeah, we were interrupted 3 times for the warnings on Sauga (Scholes)

Personally, I think he sounds excellent! I doubt Q will ever be able to replace David Kaye, but Alan sounds really good so far. Thoughts?
