Is Wendy a contender? Rosemary Barton should also be a consideration and would get my vote.
I'm more convinced they'll go for a series of rotating hosts. To be honest, they need to skew the age back, so I'm not sure Ian H. is the shoe-in people think he might be.

They've all but officially confirmed that the National will be undergoing a major revamp in the fall, with no less than three anchors or hosts being featured in some fashion.
